also proud to host Dr. Autid Suparb's article

regarding Child
Rights and DNA
Evidence, concern issues which extend beyond the borders
of Thailand. Finally, we have an article that is literally
out of this world: The
Protection of Intellectual Property Rights in Outer Space
discusses the application of existing laws to an under-developed
area of law.
Finally,
we have added a live news feed to our news
section featuring current news articles on the
Thai law scene.
In
a case
revolving around the construction of the Yadana natural
gas pipeline in Southern Burma, the US court of Appeals
has established that the defendant, Unocal, may be responsible
for aiding and abetting human rights violations by the
Burmese military. The decision illustrates the use of
the Alien Tort Claims Act over corporate defendants.
